The Answer Is Yes. We Are Still Alive.

Goodness, gracious, where does time go? After all, it's a long time from April to July! But it's actually only a matter of priorities. And, unfortunately, this blog hasn't been that high on our list of priorities. But, we can always repent, right?
Some of the family, if not all, might think that we are a pair of pack rats and 'stuff freaks.' And, we would be the first to agree that we do have more 'stuff' around here than we need. So, we are making an attempt to 'clean house' so to speak and get things more organized and 'in order.' Case in point: We have four computers, that's right, four computers. One is the first one we ever bought; it's an old 486 PC that uses the DOS operating system. One is a Pentium II PC that needs a new hard drive. One is the Pentium II that we're currently using. Finally, there's the Pentium IV that we have yet to get set up and operational. We recently got another metal filing cabinet at a garage sale that we can use to store hard copy material that we want to keep. And Gloria is progressively using a lot of the fabric she has accumulated over the years to make quilts, baby blankets, baby bibs, etc. that she spends a lot of her at-home time doing. Hopefully we'll have it all done before Christmas.
James and his children came to Price last Friday evening and stayed with us until mid-afternoon on Sunday. Stephanie was in Cardston, Canada doing a seminar for George Wythe College. On Saturday evening, we picked up a sister we home teach in the van and we all drove up to Price Recreation Area for a dutch oven cookout. The weather was beautiful, there weren't any mosquitoes, and the food was delicious. We left the house at 5:50 p.m. and got back home around 8:00 p.m.
James' neck was very stiff and sore from early Saturday morning.

Sara sees something of interest at the next table.

Laura wasn't feeling too chipper herself--something with her tummy.

Gloria takes an opportunity to visit with Sherald and Lula Law.

Aunt Lynette and Uncle Doug Keane are planning to come to the Taylor Family Reunion on July 12th. They plan to come a week early, on July 5th, and while they're here they want to take a day-trip to one of the National Parks in southern Utah and have us go with them. Neither I or Gloria have been to Bryce or Zion Canyon; nor have either of them. We're not sure if Cathy and Josie are going to be able to come this year. Lynette was going to call Cathy and see if they wanted to come with her, but we haven't heard anything definitive yet.
We are disappointed that some of our immediate family will be unable to be with us at the Taylor Reunion. But, we understand that circumstances simply make it more advisable to not do a lot of traveling for various reasons. We will miss not having them with us.
That's about all the news for today. Who knows, perhaps a new posting may come as early as tomorrow or the next day.
In any case, it's goodbye for now. As Bugs Bunny would say, "Beduh..., bedu..., bed.., that's all folks." (Something like that, at least.)
