President Gordon B. HinkleyI received this musical selection from the wife of a good friend. Richard Larsen and his wife, Jean, are serving a 18 month mission for the LDS Church in Salt Lake City at Temple Square and the Conference Center. I found it very touching, knowing that President Hinkley offered it at a Youth Conference in Georgia in the year 2000. Below are two links. The first is the Website of Ashley Harris. She explains how the prayer was made into a song entitled, "A Prophet's Prayer." She includes the actual words to the prayer. The second link is to the musical version for the prayer that she wrote. Music often affects my spiritual tender button and I often tear up when I hear certain music or songs. This is one of those spiritual buttons for me. I hope you enjoy it.
