WE ONLY SAW THE REPLAYS

No. 84, Jan Jorgensen stretches out
his left arm just as the ball is being
kicked and in doing so blocked the
attempted point after attempt by
the Huskies of the University of
Washington. The Cougars won by
a score of 28 to 27.

Bradley discovers "Blossom" at Grandma GG's
and Grandpa Roger's house. Blossom was his
dad's rocking horse 38 years ago when they
lived in Altamont, Utah, where Grandpa Roger
first started to teach school.

James and his children visited us last weekend while Stephanie was at a seminar in Portland. While they were here, they visited the Dinosaur Museum and then watched Ratatooe (sp) and Matilda on DVD. Bradley found a new (actually used) toy. He became friends with "Blossom" and had lots of fun riding him. He even learned to get on and off by himself. In the evening, we all attended the "End of Summer Ward Social." We ate hamburgers or hotdogs, jello salad, potato salad, green salad with dressing, chips, cakes of all kinds, and cookies. After filling our tummies, James and the children packed up their things and headed back to Kaysville. You all may recall that they just so happened to be here the weekend we had our last ward social as well at the Price Recreation Center in Price Canyon. All in all it was a fun-filled day and a wonderful weekend.
